One of the main tourist attractions in, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is the statue of Christ the Redeemer. The statue was built between 1922 and 1931. The talk of building a staute started when a religious king told a princess that he wanted a religious statue built in Rio de Janeiro. On July 7, 2007, "Christ the Redeemer" was name one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
