Spanish-American War      
In 1898, The Spanish-American War occurred. The war was fought by America and Spain. America ended up defeating the Spaniards. It began when the Spanish sunk an American ship. Once this occurred, the war broke out. The war wasn't only for getting back at the Spaniards, but they were fighting for Cuba's independence. On December      
10, 1898, The Treaty of Paris was signed.
